Our story started in 1878 when a young Silviano Venchi invested his savings in two bronze cauldrons and began crafting chocolate in a small shop in Turin. His experiments soon led to success—most famously, the Nougatine, a delicate blend of caramelized hazelnuts enrobed in dark chocolate. Before long, Venchi became known as “the most elegant chocolate shop in Piedmont” and earned the title of “Purveyor to the Royal Household.”

Though the royal seal no longer graces our packaging, the same passion, precision, and inventive spirit continue to guide us. That legacy lives on in creations like Chocoviar, Gianduiotto, Cremino, chocolate bars, spreads, Gourmet Easter eggs, and even artisanal gelato. Each recipe is crafted with care, using natural ingredients to deliver genuine flavor and joy.

Today, Venchi brings over 145 years of Italian tradition and taste to the world. With more than 250 chocolate recipes and 90 gelato flavors, we’ve expanded to over 70 countries—from London and Hong Kong to Dubai and New York, home to our record-breaking chocolate waterfall. As we continue to grow, with more than 180 chocolate and gelato shops worldwide, we’re proud to share creativity, delight, and authentic Italian moments in cities like Jakarta, Shanghai, and Tokyo.
